For the purpose of clarity, we classify Puppies as up through 6 months old. Anyone older then 6 months is in the Dogs section.

We have an adoption center in the Maple Leaf Shopping Center (map) at the corners of Saratoga and Piper Ave, across from Helm of Sun Valley in San Jose. Our Dog Adoption hours are Saturdays from 1030am - 2pm.

Why Rescue?

I looked at all the caged animals in the shelter...the cast-offs of human society. I saw in their eyes love and hope, fear and dread, sadness, and betrayal. And I was angry.

"God," I said, "this is terrible! Why don't you do something?" God was silent for a moment, and then spoke softly, "I have done something," was the reply. "I created you."
