Otis is a very handsome boy. He's a purebred, pedigreed Ragdoll and he weighs about 12 lbs. He gets along OK with kids 8 years or older. He has always lived with other cats; tends to dominate them in a passive sort of way. He has lived briefly with dogs, but doesn't like them. Otis has to be an indoor only kitty, as he has been declawed. This shouldn't be a problem, as he is very faithful about using his litter pan. Otis was allergic to chicken when younger. My name is Mammouth because I'm big, slow and woolly like a mammoth. My picture doesn't show it because it was taken right after I was first rescued. I'm even cuter than that in life. I am a male Maine Coon mix who is about 6-8 years old and I currently weigh about 15 lbs.

I'm looking for a kind and gentle caretaker, a life-long companion, someone to call my very own. I was abandoned by my original owners and wandered for months and months, starving, until I was just literally skin and bones. Likely delirious from hunger, I was hit by a car while trying to cross a street, but fortunately nothing was broken. I do have a bit of a wobble with my front legs that the vet thinks could be related to nerve damage but for which (after having gotten a second and third opinion) there is nothing that needs to be done.

I was taken in by a kind lady who already had a kitty brood of her own and sadly they never accepted me and I got quite lonely. My foster mom is helping me to find my forever loving home where I will be loved, and accepted and well cared for.
