Name: Carmen • Breed: Chihuahua mix • Age: Puppy • Size: Small • Gender: Female
Carmen is an 8 week old very long-legged Chihuahua Female Puppy. She is a bit shy, but gets over it right away, and needs to be with her family. She is very loving, has figured out very quickly how to use the dog door to come back in the house, right after you put her outside to play, but she should figure out the going out process just as fast.

Name: Cassie • Breed: Chi/Dachshund mix • Age: Adult • Size: Small • Gender: Female
Cassie is about 12 lbs and is 3 years old. She came to CARE from a shelter, She looked so sad in her cage. Her previous owners did not take very good care of her. She had ticks and fleas on her tiny little body. She has had several litters of puppies in her short life and her coat is not as shiny as it should be. But LIFE is getting better for this little sweet girl, no more ticks, no more fleas and NO MORE BABIES... She is getting good food, lots of love, and a warm place to sleep. Her coat is looking better, she is becoming a happy, loving girl that would make a great friend for someone. She is fine with other dogs and cats.

Chile is a beautiful red long haired chihuahua. He is 2 yrs old and neutered, microchipped, up to date on all his shots. He is extremely shy, but is learning quickly that humans are fun. He is not a biter, just shy and needs to feel extremely comfortable around his person. Chile is learning about human/dog interaction, but loves other dogs, and does fine around cats.

Maggie is a very, very sweet, mellow and affectionate little 1-yr girl. She is a complete lady, has very nice house manners, and is also very gentle. She loves attention and will wiggle all over the place, she will also play with your feet to maybe encourage you to pet her! Or just because she likes to be near you. She is housetrained and crate trained. Maggie is looking forward to having a home where she will receive the training she needs, to be the well-mannered lifelong companion that she has the potential to be.

Miranda is an 8 week old female Chihuahua puppy, she is very small and kinda shy little girl, but so loving, she will fill your heart if you decide she's the one for you. She loves to be held and likes to curl around by your neck and just hug you.

*Mama* Pearl is a 2-3 year old chi mix. She is came to CARE with her 3 puppies, and has been doing a great job at being a mom, but now it's time for Pearl to shine on her own. She is house trained at her foster home, gets along with the dogs at her foster home and loves to hang with her foster family around the house. She is very calm, but playful and should make a great addition to most households. She likes to chase the cat's at her foster home, but isn't really in it to win it, just likes to see them run and they are not overly stressed by her.

*Mama* Poppy is a 2 yr old spayed female chihuahua terrier mix. Poppy came to CARE pregnant and had 5 lovely babies that have all gone on to their new homes. Poppy can be a little shy, but does get friendly really fast. She likes other dogs, and really loves her people, once she gets to know them. Poppy is potty trained, good in a crate, is walking on a leash and loves to play with toys. Poppy lives in a foster home with 5 cats, but is not a cat loving dog. She likes to make them run, but if called off, is very good about stopping the chase

Name: Rudy • Breed: Dachshund mix • Age: Adult • Size: Small • Gender: Male
Rudy is about 2 years old and weighs about 12 lbs. He is a little shy at first but warms up after spending some time with you. He is a little shy of men but will warm up if given the chance. He loves women and would do better with older children rather that young ones. He loves to go on walks, hikes, and loves his visits at the local parks. He is housebroken and crate trained. He does well with other dogs; NO CATS. He has the personality of the doxie breed, which means he has the personality of a big dog in a little body.

Sundance is a 4 month old lab mix. He is learning his house manners and is crate trained. He loves to play with a ball and race around the yard with his friends. He will be at the Saturday pet fair.
