Help a cat or dog, puppy or kitten find a home!

This is our biggest job! How do you become a foster home for C.A.R.E.? Simply come by our center during our open hours and talk to the volunteer in charge. We are open for Dogs on Saturdays 10:30am-2:00pm. Cats are Fridays 7pm-9pm. For a map to our center click here. You will get a chance to see what we are all about. Then just follow these three easy steps.

1. We'll ask you to be a volunteer at the center for a couple of Saturdays for dogs or a couple of Fridays for cats. You will get to see what we are all about and what fostering entails. You will also get a feel for the kind of animal you would like to help.

2. Become a member. We'll give you the paperwork and check out your fostering facilities. Then you are official!

3. Now it's time to find a foster animal. One of our foster people will be assigned to mentor you and help you connect with your first foster animal. Some people think it will be hard to give up that first animal, and it may be. But you will have the immense satisfaction that comes with saving an animal's life.
